CHANGE OF DATE AGAIN

We have to reschedule the January meeting due to another conflict.  Watch here for further information soon!

There will be no December meeting.  We will convene again on January 8 January 22 at 7:00 PM in the rectory.  We will discuss "Negative and Positive Morality" and "On American Morals".

November Meeting

This month's meeting will be on Sunday, November 27 at 7:00 PM in the rectory.  We'll continue our perusal of some of Chesterton's writings on distributism.  We'll discuss "Democracy and Progress" and "The Common Man".

October Meeting

The October meeting will be on the 30th at 7:00 PM in the rectory.  We'll be discussing two more essays: "On Evil Euphemisms" and "Sex and Property".

September Meeting

We have a meeting date: September 25 at 7:00 PM in the rectory.  We will be reading the long postponed essays "Government and the Rights of Man" and "Reflections on a Rotten Apple".

2016 Chesterton Conference

If you haven't already heard, the 2016 Chesterton Conference is being heldAugust 4-6 at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Please find a schedule attached. More info at www.chesterton.org.

Summer Hiatus

As you may have guessed, the St. Sebastian Chesterton Society will be on summer hiatus until September.  Check back then for meeting date and readings.

April Meeting POSTPONED

The next Chesterton meeting will be April 17th. Location is tbd. Look for updates in case we need to reschedule.

We will be reading two essays by Chesterton, "Government and the Rights of Man" and "Reflections on a Rotten Apple".

Stay tuned for further information on the rescheduling.  Fr. V. will be out of town next weekend, so we will probably not meet until May 1 at the earliest.

March Meeting UPDATED

The March meeting will be Palm Sunday, March 20 at 7:30 pm in Forest Lodge.  We will be finishing The Flying Inn (Yes, all 10 chapters).

February Meeting

The next meeting will be this Sunday, February 21 at 7:00 pm in the rectory. We will be discussing Chapters 11-15 of The Flying Inn.

January Meeting

The next meeting will be this Sunday, January 10 at 7:00 pm in the rectory.  We will be discussing Chapters 6-10 of The Flying Inn.
